These tips can help you to live a passionate life ... to live with passion and sizzle.
A Potentiality List is a list of how you want to live your life - of all the things you love to do, have, be. (The type of house you'd like to live in, places to visit, type of friends you'd like, experiences you'd like, car to drive, hours you work, income, personal growth). Here's a few examples of what some of my clients have on their lists:
The key as you create this list is don't put any limitation on it. Don't let your mind say "don't be ridiculous you couldn't have that". Be as outrageous and extravagant as you want to. With this list we are opening up your mind and your subconscious to possibilities and potentials.
Here's an example of how powerful it can be when you open up your subconscious with a Potentiality List.
About 10 years ago, as part of a personal development program I was running, I asked the people there to make a clay model of something they were very passionate about, would like to have, be, or do, but that seemed unrealistic, out of reach, impossible. One of the guys modeled a top-fuel dragster (racing car).

This week, Warren rang me to say that he'd just purchased his top fueler and was having it shipped from the US to Australia.
He wanted me to know that 10 years ago, when he made the clay model, it had seemed impossible and had put it out of his mind. However his subconscious had other ideas! He said "You know it was only on the flight home that I realized that dream was born the day we modeled the clay figure. At the time it seemed impossible and I discounted it as a bit of flippery. But I guess I never let my dream go because it was something I wanted a lot. Yet, without really thinking too much about it, over the years we've (he and his wife) been doing things, without even realizing it, that brought the impossible dream into reality".
It's a great story of how powerful your subconscious can be. If you ask for something with passion and stay open to it's potential, often it will manifest.
What is on your Potentiality List today, may well not be there in six months or a year. I know this has certainly been true for me. Things fall off the list because:
Putting Yourself in Places of Potential is simply the act of identifying the people, environments, resources, activities that you need to immerse yourself in to be, do and have what it is you want.
For example, for me to meet and spend time with my '50 most delightful', I need to be on their lists, attending workshops and seminars, have something that I can offer to them. I'm building contacts with people who walk in their world. I'm active on their discussion groups. Not only are these Places of Potential delightful for me and cause me to feel I am living a passionate life, but it fits very snugly with my core values of 'learning and development', 'contribution, and 'giving back'.
Over the years, Warren had put himself in Places of Potential for his dream to manifest and for him to live a passionate life. He continued to follow his passion of driving drag cars - not top fuel, but drag cars all the same. He made sound financial decisions. He connected with people that could help him. And slowly, but surely his dream became reality.
Grab some magazines and clip out photos, words and phrases, search the net for photos and pictures. Put together a collage of the things you want to have in your life that will cause it to sizzle with vibrancy and passion.
I have a cork board that is covered with photos of horses, people, elephants, houses, cars, words like luxurious, I have a bank statement on it that shows the income I want to generate each month.
Each day I look at my Vision Board for a few moments, I energize myself by generating the feelings of abundance, passion, excitement and gratitude. Then I just simply get about my day.
