Shelley, This note is long overdue.

When I read your post on How to Manage Your Manager" I thought you must have written it with me specifically in mind - even though you didn't know me!

I followed the tips in your post and three months later, my relationship with my boss has changed significantly. Now we are working as partners, rather than combatants, and it seems like my career is just about to take off.
